Response rates for the 2016 NHT Public Satisfaction Survey have shown a marked year on year increase across the board rising from 21.25% in 2015 to 24.40% in 2016.
The NHT National Survey, that is carried out at the same time as the individual Authority surveys and provides Councils with an additional benchmark, had a response rate of 18.30% up from 16.37% last year.
Whilst it is too early to determine from the results what might be driving this increase, Ipsos MORI, the conductors of the survey, had worked on making the 2016 questionnaire more respondent-friendly.
Although the percentage of people completing the survey on line remains fairly low, it doubled in 2016 with over 7,000 of the 97,573 people who took part in the survey choosing the on line option.
Full results will be available on this web site towards the end of October.
