An eight page national survey is being commissioned again in 2017 to provide an additional benchmark. Ipsos MORI select addresses from across the whole of England that were not already being sent a questionnaire by their local authority.
The questionnaire covers all the main importance and satisfaction questions as well as those questions on Highway Maintenance, Cycling and Buses from the full 12 page survey and is identical to the newly-introduced 8 page questionnaire that a little under 50% of participating authorities have chosen to use this year.
The National response provides an additional level of comparison for participating councils.
